An Appeal from the Chair:

NCBA Needs You!  Read the NCBA Objective.  We want our businesses to be "viable and stable."  Do you know about the proposals and ideas being considered that could adversely affect your business?  Ask any City Council Member about the following:

  • relocation of Salvation Army Shelter to Farrow Road
  • plans to disband/merge/restructure the Eau Claire Development Corporation
  • skipped sections of streetscaping along the North Main corridor
  • awards of City contracts and grants to Council members or those close to Council members

What is being done to draw other businesses to our area?  Are you tired of the broken promises and excuses?  Together, we can affect change in the way our local government looks at the area in which we do business.  Together, we can have a voice in determining what is best for our community.  Together, we can succeed - as individual businesses we will stagnate!

THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS, JOIN THE NORTH COLUMBIA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION TODAY!

Thank you to Bi-Lo for sponsoring our
Coffee Talks for the month of August.

Upcoming Events

The Eau Claire North Columbia Rotary meets every Tuesday at the Lutheran Seminary.  Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM.

We are very excited about our new
NCBA Coffee Talk!  Join us every Thursday morning at NCBA headquarters, 2965 North Main St.  Coffee Talk is a casual drop-in starting at 7:30 AM and lasting until at least 9:30 AM.  You are welcome to bring guests.  There are newspapers and special guests each week so members can keep abreast of matters that affect us all - individually and as a group.  It's a great time to network, formulate common goals, and find solutions together.
